InshaAllah, I hope that you all had a good and productive Eid-ul-Fitr!
Having been through the blessed month of Ramadan 2012, I think it's time I changed my bad habits and hopefully you will too! I think Ramadan gives us all much to think about and gives us time to assess ourselves and our actions.
Are we really being 'good' Muslims?
Are we being good people?
But most of all are we being truthful to ourselves?
I know it's a question I often find asking my self. But I think most of try to become 'good' Muslims, but somewhere along the line, Shayateen tries to tempt us into bad deeds (such as getting into debt, smoking, drinking alcohol, rising to our temper etc.) and after a month of reading on time and fasting and doing Dhikr, we stray from the Right Path. But we are human. We can try to repent for our sins, ask for forgiveness from Allah and try to stay on the Right Path.
Hopefully we will all InshaAllah, be good people and most importantly good Muslims.
I hope this post motivates you to becoming a good person!
